JK...I stand corrected. Thanks JLvatron!

For the record my wife's pet names are Bruce Springsteen/Tony Danza.

('Cos she's "The Boss").
Springsteen's a compliment, but Tony, Ouch!
What'd your wife do to you to insult her as that fool Danza!!

btw, the Mr.Potato head of BumbleBee was called BumbleSpud.
Really lacking creativity.

So feel free to call it what I do, Spud-bleBee.

We"ve been through BW, BM, Unicron trilogy, and Prime. Just now on the 4th episode of Animated. Oddly enough, though he really enjoys watching the shows and likes to play with a couple of my junkers, he's never really asked for much in the way of the toys. He's much more into Star Wars when it comes to toys.

Be his Yoda and guide him well

For when I have a son, he will be guided correctly in the ways of Primus.....

For my 7 year old son's bedtime story we read from the 20th Anniversary IDW TPB Adaptation of TFTM '86.

One of my 4 year old daughter's favorite songs (other than 'Let It Go' from "Frozen") is "Dare To Be Stupid".

So I wouldn't say I'm in too deep, rather I'd say I'm great at brainwashing my children.

Subsequently my wife is ambiguous about her opinion of The Transformers. Likely due to all the expensive plastic crack jammed in the Detolf in our bedroom .

Sorry to derail slightly, but where do you get these? the pillows

My daughter likes transformers too. We just finished Beast Wars and I told her Beast Machines is next. And she's eager to get started.

I believe the Popple-style pillows were available about 7+ years ago... I have the Optimus one... I remember buying it at Toys R Us. "7+ years" is my vague recollection. It could have been much longer...

My son got them as gifts from his Godparents when he was born so 2007 sounds about right. Right around the first Bayverse movie came out.

My recollection is about 7 year ago as well. I don't think much longer. Around the time of the first movie sounds about right to me.

Yup, 2007. I believe they were from end of 2006 to late 2007, pretty much 1 year length. Then you couldn't find them ANYwhere.

Too bad they don't have them no mo. I bought so many of these as gifts for kids of all ages.
Even had 1 left over that I later gifted to my wife!

I wish these were around when we had our son. I've seen them going for stupid prices on eBay.

I've done the same thing with my son. I'm the stay at home parent so we have lots of time to watch these shows.
It started when I wanted to watch RID (I have a bootleg set) and he really loved it! So when it was done I went back and started with G1 (including HM/MF/V), them BW. We didn't make it through BM because it's the only show that didn't hold his attention. Then through A/E/C, the Animated and Prime.
We've also just gone through Thundercats (he's playing on a "castle" he made of couch cushions right now that he says is "Castle Pludarr"), Silverhawks, and MOTU; now we're on PoP. I'm thinking I'll stick with Filmation and go on to Bravestarr from here.
