Repaints & Minor Mods Bonding Plastic?

What is the best way to bond plastic. Ive been using super glue but its proving to not be strong enough.

You could try modeling cement.

Plastic Weld, it's a 2 part 5 min epoxy.
You can find it in Auto sections of Walmart & Crappy Tire.
It stinks like hell, but it's great stuff to use.

This, I use 2 part epoxies for all my plastic bonding that needs to hold well. It's actually what's holding the door handle onto the door of my car right now, been that way for 3 years. This stuff hardens like cement.

lepages makes a primer/glue 2 part kit it actully welds the plastic together and is quite stong barring that go to an automotive supplier and if you know what type of plastic you want bonded they can supple a industrial strenght glue that will fix almost any plastic problem (plastics like bumpers and interior trim)

Mitre Bond, freakin awesome stuff. Used it to hold part on Megatron

You can also try Tamiya Extra Thin cement. Very useful for small parts and dries/cures in 5-10 minutes.

The fumes are cancerous as hell though.

When I put together my Warhammer characters. Super glue doesn't melt the pieces being attached. They just snap apart. If you drop em they kinda explode. Handy if you want to modify in the future. But to permanently bond I use Model cement sparingly. If the piece is still to brittle you may want to drill and pin then glue. Hold time varies.
