Re: 80's Toy Expo Purchase Surprises

Surprises you say. Good one is found a MIB Universe Inferno for $25 given what I usually see them for. Nice to put a face to Wendel at long last and not good surprise was finding out PRID Skyquake at $75. WTF? I know it seems to be the going rate (I checked after I got home) but damn that's a little high IMO

Re: 80's Toy Expo Purchase Surprises

I was able to find a Jet Vehicon General and a Universe Ramjet for 30 each when i was there. Also i found a MISB Alternators Mirage for 35, so i was super happy. Love the Jet Vehicon general but his flat color was bugging me so im repainting him to more suitable colors.

You sure it wasn't a different Bruticus? I don't remember selling those. :-p

Maybe BruticusMax, or just Bruticus? (he was setup just inside the far side door).

My biggest surprise was getting a complete MasterMind Creations Cyclops for $60.

The runner up is getting a Rachet & Clank figure set for $5.These guys never even crossed my mind in purchases.

Re: 80's Toy Expo Purchase Surprises

gonna go with everything I bought that WASN'T supposed to be parts for a custom :P

but in specific;

- G1 ThunderClash: that trailer alone makes up for the insanely large amount of gold plastic

- Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Revolver and Caliber: most fun I've ever had with a sentai toy ever!

- Bravestarr Neutro-Blaster: why? Ian's look of shame toward me when I showed him. So worth it!
