who knows how many thousands of pre-orders they got. there was no way they were going to take that kind of hit i dont care how much money they have or how big a company they are.
They dont care if it gives them bad publicity or not, there will still be millions of people ordering from them every week even without transformers fans and if you think otherwise your fooling yourself.

$10 000 for a company like Amazon is peanuts. They should look at it as a "lost leader" they have budgets for that. They have budgets for misc losses as well. I'm guessing the bad publicity would only span a few message boards and several hundred people. They know their customers. If the MP10 came back up on their site for even $30 less than average eBay price, the "boycotters" would be all over them still. Amazon knows this, I'm sure.
