....well that's just unusual...never heard of a store exclusive that was released at SDCC let alone any convention initially

I recall that being the plan but it was called off I believe, and resulted in Canada being the first to get him before even the US by a couple of weeks.

Great news! lots of good stuff to choose from  I'm hoping to bring a few hundred bucks if I can. Im not really too sure what all im looking to buy this year, as im mostly focusing on DOTM stuff, which is widely available at retail, but maybe there will be some exclusives I can grab there, or a few nice re-issues I'd like to get too.
