TFcon announces 3rd Party Product Panel for 2011

The TFcon website has been updated with the following: With the growing popularity of 3rd party Transformers related products TFcon announces the first annual 3rd party product panel for TFcon 2011. We have invited major 3rd party product manufacturers to contribute to a panel focusing on new images of upcoming and previously announced collector focused toys. We encourage all 3rd party companies to contact us to be involved in this first ever presentation.

Speaking of which there is only 1 month left to preorder the TFcon 2011 exclusive Stronghold figure and preregister for TFcon 2011. TFcon - Canada's 10th Annual Transformers Collectors Convention is July 30th and 31st, 2011 at the Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Centre in Mississauga, Ontario with free parking. You can book your hotel room for TFcon 2011 via the hotel reservation website.

That's pretty awesome. Any specifics as to which 3rd party companies are coming to the panel? I wonder if one of them will announce an upgrade set for the BotCon Stunticons to let them combine into Menasor.

Also, I wonder how Hasbro feels about this. I love having Hasbro Canada there. It may not be as big or informative as the BotCon Hasbro panel, but the one we get at TFcon is pretty cool too. And I like having them out front with their table full of new toys for you to mess with. Hopefully giving the 3rd parties their own panel won't hurt TFcon's relationship with Hasbro.

Though, apparently at BotCon just past, Hasbro was supposed to be cracking down on the 3rd party stuff. But turns out there was more than ever. The booth across from the Club Stores was all knock-offs. TFScam...er, I mean TFSource, was ALL 3rd party stuff. And there were even more booths on top of that. From the Classics Rainmakers and Animated Chromia/Moonracer KOs to the Junkion customizing kits. So my worries may be completely unfounded.

i love this. the more i think about it, the more i realize i'm almost primarily at third party collector these days... i mean i nab the cool classics shit as its released, but other than that there isnt much that excites me these days...
