I am not sure what day I will be there. I will try to make it for Friday but it is dependant on my GF and her mom as they are making the trip to TO to see familly.

Stupid question, does anyone know an easy way to get from toronto to where the convention is besides driving?

I know nothing of the system, bus, metro, train.

I asked in another thread. Someone pointed out that there's a GO Transit station a few blocks from the hotel. Seems to be the best option for getting there/back.
