100% Complete

I get a kick out of some sellers on ebay that say...."100% Complete" when they are selling a Transformer Action Figure, Example;

Transformers Vintage G1 ULTRA MAGNUS 100% Complete L@@K

CONDITION:
* Item is in good condition with normal play wear and sticker wear
* Near complete with all accessories, only missing both small fists and the laser gun.
* 100% Vintage collection, hard to find complete set now
* Comes as you see in the picture

Then, that is not 100% Complete. I could be wrong, but I think that 100% means everything, box, insert, instructions, and all accessories. What do the rest of you think?

well, 100% to me means it has all the parts to make a complete figure. The box and instructions are what makes it MIB

That.

100% is the toy and its accessories, not the box/instructions.

But this ebay item as you've pointed out clearly is not complete regardless of interpretation.

Yes, agreed. I guess it depends on who you are talking to. And there are a lot of good answers as to what 100% Complete means.

Re: 100% Complete

Scouring Ebay for the last month or so I have notice some of these as well. 100% Limited Edition Ultra Rare Impossible to Find "Insert Name" Transformer. Only missing some small piece or two.. Then that would not be 100% complete would it??

Just seems nonsensical to me.. but guess their hoping everyone doesn't read the whole pitch.

Re: 100% Complete

when saying "100% complete" I think of even the stickers on the figure or still on its sheet. what you got is like 85%, thats what I thing of complete precentages

Re: 100% Complete

Best one I saw was a Scorponok listed as 99% complete and it was just the body. Seller mentioned the other parts could easily be bought off Ebay.

Actually, it can be 100% complete with all its accessories & instructions and box, but still be out of the box.
That is not MIB.

But in NO WAY can a Transformer be considered 100% complete if he doesn't have his FISTS! Even without a gun, he still can't become a complete robot without his fists!

Sure it is, it's just not MI-S-B.

But yes, if a figure does not have ALL of it's accessories, it is not 100% complete.

Isn't there a way to report these things to Ebay? Sure, sure, I know it's "buyer beware", but advertising something as 100% complete, then saying it's actuall missing some accessories in the description is false advertising.
