Re: Survey - Transformers MISB or Opened

For me, this hobby (collecting) isn't about making money, it's about making me happy. How can the toys make me happy if they are stuck in plastic prisons?

Open that sucker up!

I'm all about maximizing TF playtime!! But how cool would it be if they made all TF's come in resealable packages??? That would be almost the best of both worlds and a lil easy on our wallets.

Cool Re: Survey - Transformers MISB or Opened

Both options, Keep one MISB & Open the other!

Well, I don't buy 2 (or more) of every figure. It's gotta be a special figure to be "on the list".

Plus I feel safer with having a MOSC around. Maybe I have a Jabba complex where I like to keep a figure in "carbonite" on the wall.

Re: Survey - Transformers MISB or Opened

I open everything I buy. Most of the time, I toss out the packaging; nice boxes are kept.

They're toys...open then and enjoy them.

I do keep the odd one MISB but very rarely. I now toss just about all boxes as well.

Anyone else want to vote? Only 3 days left.
If I’m able too & I love the packaging, I get one to open and one to leave in box. I just find it's a tease to buy something and never open it.

What about those of us that take it out of the box but keep the box?

Re: Survey - Transformers MISB or Opened

Currently most everything I have is open. I only kept a few things in the box, because they are in the mode I would display them in. And since I don't have closed cabinets it keeps the dust off of them.

I have kept the boxes for everything. Or the cards for them. I started to toss out the bubble plastic and that stuff. And I may fold down the boxes as I run out of space to store it.

I suppose if I had a rare figure sealed in box, I would probably keep him that way for his value. But, I don't ever expect to acquire something both that rare and valuable to worry about it.

Re: Survey - Transformers MISB or Opened

That would still be under the "opened" category.

Cheers!
