TF Con: Buy Tickets in Advance or at the Door

With the con only a few months away I was planning to pre buy my passes but then I thought: should I?

What are the benefits of buying early and pating taces and fees versus buying at the door?

Me personally, when I attend the con I just show up a day early

- spend the Thursday driving out leisurely roadtrip with the family, check into the Hilton that evening

- mess around TO/sauga on Friday, until that evening when they open early ticket sales in person, get passes - also attend the TF auction, which is always a good time

And then you're ready for Sat/Sun

When you buy the tickets in person, there's never "not" any passes - which is to say, they're never "so sold out" that they don't sell in-person passes
At least, not in the approaching-a-decade that I've been attending

With all that said, I've never bought the "super duper ultra best gold star" passes, which I understand may be in limited quantities - so if you're into that, IN THAT CASE maybe securing online is the best option

If you buy at the door, you spend more time lining up (like up to buy tickets and then line up to get into the dealer room)

Don't worry about money, just go have fun.

If you wanna skip lines, buy online and go really early. Or really late.

If you want the best deals, dealers already beat ya all to it before doors even open to public, but early access gets ya some good deals still. They will go fast.

There will be tons that won't sell, so always tons to look at, and even some good deals had at the end from dealers just wanting stuff gone.

You'll have to lineup to meet people, so bring snacks and battery life on your device to keep amused during doen times.

Personally I get early admission online, seems to be the best bang for the buck.
