TERMINATE! Strika is finished and ready to hunt down any organics for the decepticon cause. I had to resort to some partsforming for this custom but I figured the end result was worth the taboo. Strika is made from the Star Wars Crossovers Clone Commander Cody figure as a base with several key parts from the Beast Machines Strika mold (namely the head, chest and a pair of wheels). A couple of the Ultimate Battle 2-pack Optimus Prime guns and some random bits and pieces round it all out.
I tried to make her suitably huge and hulking like her Beast machines design but also took some nods from her Animated design since the Cody mold shared some similarities. I wanted to make her have her characteristic six wheels but left her with eight. I did provide her with a pair of rocket boosters that double as her iconic wheel feet, though. Six wheels or eight, no road is tougher than her!
In order to make room for her chest I had to cut away parts of the vehicle roof. I made that "shell" to cover up the hole and also give her a little more bulk. By coinacdence, she can mount extra weapons on that port.
I think what I'm proudest of with Strika is her articulated neck joint. While the base mold is not very articulated in the least, letting her articulate her neck really lends to some emotive poses.
I really wanted to add some of the glow line effects that are associated with WfC/FoC but opted against it because I just don't have a steady enough hand for that. I made sure to use some nice semi metallic purple and blue, though.
I wish I had more time to get a few issues with her fine tuned (her wheel feet can't decide if they're secure or not) but over all I'm pleased with what I accomplished since this is the most complex custom I've ever made. I hope you all enjoy her as much as I enjoyed working on her. She will be available for auction at this years charity auction at TFcon.

Wow! Praise from Caesar! That really means a lot coming from someone as talented as you, Chans. I'm looking forward to seeing how you inevitably improve on my take of Strika.
