I was charged ~$288, but I added other stuff to the order to see if they would only charge shipping once. And they did. So it looks like it's a partial shipping charge for each piece.
They wasted no time taking the money.

I got charged $259 because I am having mine delivered to my sisters' house in the U.S. I wonder if they pulled the money now just to make sure it was there and then later they will refund it and really charge us when he actually ships ??

No, I think for the projects they charge you up front.

I got charged $283 in total, so not bad overall.
