The one eyed family
So I'm just checking out pictures of some of the new movie toys and I see that the Payload figure has the same single scope eye that Dreadwing and Swindle have. If Prime and Megatron are brothers in the movie maybe all these dudes are related as well. I think they need there own back story about how Shockwave started making his own army on cybertron, all in his own image. Maybe these guys think Shockwave is somesort of deity or something. The Dronecons!, all hail Shockwave. Down with the two eyed Transformers!!!!!!!!
Makes me wish I had one big eye instead of a face sometimes too...............seriously Hasbro should have put a bit more effort into those movie figures.

Re: The one eyed family
I think the one eyed figures look great myself. Robots don't need 2 eyes for depth perception.

Re: The one eyed family
Shockwave is very cool, and atleast they didn't make any familiar characters Dronecon's.

try this. Tape one of your eye shut and wear sunglasses all day, then go out side to an area that you never been before or little of. go to a area where there is people you don't recognize.
you can not tell the if the person you are looking at is either short or far away.
i think shockwave suffers from the same problem.

I think that transformers utilize more than just optics, such as radar or laser trackers. Sheeesh...

Or panoramic sonar, then they'd be able to 'see' in all directions at once and independent of lighting conditions.

I think your logic is seriously flawed. He's a robot. Again, depth perception would not apply.
