Re: Fan Toys FT-04 Scoria

I like where this is going. I love the size and even enjoy the feet for Grimlock. I think it is clever in its simplicity. I may be one of only a few who feel this way, however.

You're not alone. I think it's a great solution for those who are concerned about scale. Personally, I've always wanted a collection of MP Dinobots, and FansToys is doing an incredible job ! I can't wait to see Scoria in Dino mode !!!

The feet are a good way of doing it without making it overtly different.

Re: Fan Toys FT-04 Scoria

You are definately not alone. I don't get the people who want these scaled with MP-08 Grimlock. HE IS TOO SMALL. Why would you want a set of Dinobots where ALL 5 are too small vs all being the right height and Grimlock wearing lifts to do so.

20% wrong > 100% wrong.

And I will bet my four Dinobots on this...If these four sell very well AND go with the Cartoon look over the toy look then you know FT will make a Grimlock to fit in with the rest.

I said it before and I will say it again. There is currently little to no demand for an upscaled Grimock because no one wants to spend $200+ for an extra inch on something that doesn't go with anything. This will all change once the other 4 are in our possession.

Keep up the great work FT, forget the fans telling you to make em smaller, they don't have a clue. Stay the course.

Re: Fan Toys FT-04 Scoria

Well based on the new pictures Fans Toys released, I decided to go over to the dark side (3rd Party ) and place my deposit for a preorder. I'm really excited about this one. It's also my first major 3rd Party purchase. I hope it meets the hype.

That alt mode... Is simply STUNNING! I'm glad I put my preorder in, now more so than ever. Can't wait to get my Grimlock re-issue in January.
