Has anyone noticed that in vehicle mode SS Ratchet reads "FIRE DEPARTMENT" on one side but "DEPARTMENT FIRE" on the other? How dumb is that?

I know, right? Like I get not wanting to have to try to paint tiny letters on that hinge that runs through that section, but they really should have found a better way around that. Just seems goofy. Here’s hoping the DOTM repaint doesn’t have the same thing.

Thundercracker is pretty great. Just got him last night. I love that Nitro mould though, so I was biased from the start, but the dark blue really looks nice. He might be a tad too dark to be TC in my opinion, and that head screams Tarantulus or Waspinator, but it’s still a fun solid piece.

I think it's known I don't like the movies haha,
I did pick up the voyager ss prime and he's pretty cool and I grabbed the thundercracker today and ditched that horrible head and replaced it with the takara legends ghost Starscream headmaster from the takara legends octane, hopefully reprolabels makes a g1 style set for this thundercracker.

I'm quite happy. I was going to just pick up Grimlock as I'm a sucker for Dinobots. But I ended up buying Blackout, Starscream and Ratchet as well. I love them all! Spent last night learning the transformations and had a lot of fun. I also lucked out and found a TLK Voyager Megatron, which I missed last year. My 5 new movie toys are chilling on the shelf and they look great together.

passed on the grimlock although he did look good in hand. i only owned blackout and so far i'm loving him. i don't love the price tag on him though. 80$ for a leader is steep.

I am not really a movies fans either but after I saw your ghost Starscream hack/mod. I went out and got a SS Thundercracker to try it myself. Not bad but kind of pricey for a voyager size.
