Re: worth it or not $220,000

It's a nice collection for sure, but no where near 220000.

20-25000, maybe. Perhaps even a bit more than that, but I cannot see it reaching even 40000.

Nothing in there is vintage and while the mp figures and a few of the others such as the alternators and certain voyages might fetch quite a bit he's literally asking roughly 200$ per figure. The anime figures he shows aren't worth that much, and the only stuff around the 200$ mark might be some of the gundam models and the masterpeice figures really.

He would be much smarter to sell these individually. Set up an ebay store or something and sell the peices out that way.

Also, he expects payment in 7 days? sure, I've got 220000 just lying around

You read my mind! Most of his collections are stuffs from recent years. So, yes, he might have multiple copies of MISB figures but there are nothing vintage.

If the deal included the house in a nice/ok location than may be it will worth it

Re: worth it or not $220,000

I don't think any TF collection can possibly be worth $220,000, even miasboytoy (no offense buddy).

...Where did the American education system go wrong for this guy???

Re: worth it or not $220,000

I can't wait for it to end so we can see what those 2 offers were. The only people I can see buying this collection are guys with business looking to sell them individually, or create a display. Not just the TF's, there are a lot of MISB PVC statues there that are worth pretty good money.

Re: worth it or not $220,000

Hmmmmm........ I think the price is pretty much more or less how much he spent for everything, but the loose aftermarkt price for a lot of this stuff now does not equal that.

Also holy shi..... did you see the little girly anime girl figure collection? Just wow.......
