problem with making TF jerseys

hit a snag with the attempt in making hockey jerseys with TF logos.

I found a jersey maker in Toronto. But he can not make the jerseys because the TF insignias are trade mark items. and he needs permission from Hasbro before making them.

But Hasbro refuses to grant me permission for using the TF insignias for Hockey Jerseys.

So, I'm at a dead end.

does anyone else have any ideas?

I thought they sold these at previous conventions, just keep an eye out at TFcon if you'll be coming.

Yep, try another jersey maker that will make them with TF insignias.

It's not like you're having these made for mass resale; no need to inform Hasbro about it.

You need a more "open-minded" retailer to do the jersey for you.

I was about to make soaps with the autobot and decepticon logos for fun. Will I get in trouble for that? Heh.

Maybe if I sell them...you can smell as fresh as an Autobot too!

It's funny that with all the bootlegged items and KO's on the market they won't let you make ONE jersey for personal use.

Hasbro may not give the rights for DeadEnd, either...

Why should they? If there's so many bootlegs and kos out there they can't keep track of them, why should they say ok to someone making more?

My point is they very rarely go after companies making profit bootlegging their products. Here they won't authorize one fan making a product for himself to enjoy, not sell.

I think you should go ahead and find someone to do it anyway. I don't see how this is different that someone who kitbashes a toy.

Going after small change is a big waste of their time. But that doesn't mean they have to give permission.

I think you should draw your own Autobot symbol then take it to another store and tell em you drew it. This way it is Your own art.

Re: problem with making TF jerseys

I didn't have any problems getting my hockey team's jerseys done...Mine has a huge decepticon logo on the front...and nobody asked or wondered

Just try another jersey company...
