I know this is anecdotal, but I found this year to be pretty sad from Walmart and Amazon.

Granted that is from an action figure collecting perspective, but even general products were either limited in sale prices, or no better than their competition. In a good number of cases they were even getting beaten out by small chains.

What I find funny is the news cycles kept going on with "experts" about how retailers understood that consumers didn't want to spend as much this year. So they were going to really try and entice buyers. Doesn't seem like Amazon and Walmart got the memo. The best deals were definitely at other retailers, and some were good deals (50% + off). Too many though were still trying to get away with 20%, or less. That is just a regular sale, not a Black Friday deal.

Nothing TFs I remember was that big a sale to be "Black Friday" worthy at Amazon & WM. I was hoping the big ticket items on my list (Titan Nemesis, Commaner UM) can go on deep BF discount. I would probably snap up the Dion/Erial set too even if it's not on sale but I get free shipping with any of those other ones. But none of those happened anywhere, including the sponsors here. Maybe Cyber Monday tomorrow?

Black Friday has really dropped off, and not just in TF circles. Remember how Black Friday was slowly supplanting Boxing Day as the big deals day? Last year, I ended up spending more on the latter.
I think the issue is that the quality of the deals has plummeted (they've likely been bad for a while, but we're just realizing it), and there's not as much to entice us to spend.

Tigerhawk is at $63.12, sold by Walmart.

It's about 19% off. For a new figure that isn't even out yet, that's pretty decent.

I got one and there is still 5 left.

You're welcome!

Sorry you missed the deal, but if it helps, it got sold out on the afternoon of the day I posted it.

You do know that Santa is watching right?

You really shouldn't lie, especially at this time of year. You don't want to end up on the Naughty List do you?

Congrats on getting him.

Also c'mon Walmart.ca what the hell? The US site and local online retailers (Toysnowman, CMD) have the Leader class G2 Grimlock in stock, but you can't get any on the site? WTH!!
