Reading Infiltration for the first time and...
... surprised to Stealth Force modes for Runabout and Runamuck. Or should I say weaponized modes Ã* la DOTM Wreckers? I though it was a fairly recent concept!

I think the idea's been floating around for awhile, but wasn't actually adopted by Hasbro until recently.

Mail Order Exclusives Overdrive, Downshift and Camshaft.
Robot mode. Alt Mode. And unique to these Omnibots at the time, the 3rd Weapon Car Mode.
The prototype for what would be Stealth Force. Enjoy.

Doesn't anyone remember Energon? All the Autobots may have been combiners, but the Decepticons had their own gimmick. A far superior gimmick, IMO. They all had attack modes, which is basically just what they'd call Stealth Force these days.
Actually, I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't taken those Energon Decepticon figures and remolded them with MechTech ports, just like they did with a bunch of ROTF figures and repainted and rereleased them in DOTM yet. Maybe later as a store exclusive or something.

Overdrive easily had the best 3rd mode cause it was indeed a 3rd functionality.
I laughed at Camshaft's "armored car" mode. Still loved him, awesome toy I got mail order ...
...from Kellogg's cereals!!

People give All Hail Megatron a lot of crap but Infiltration spent just as much time doing nothing particularly before the action picks up. Will Starscream take over the Decepticons using the power of Ore-13? no he doesn't because Megatron is just that strong, then there isn't a climactic showdown with the Autobots. But Jimmy Pink still needs to make a heroic comeback.

Man I wish Hasbro would make DOTM Runamuck and a Runabout now insted of TFCC's version from Wheeljack's mold.
