For a fleeting moment........ I was hoping it was real. Better yet, stop with the damn 3D movies.

I second stopping the 3D movies.

They make my wife sick when watching them...really limits which movie or theater we can go to.

3D is a fad, it's a cash grab to pay for a minimal feature. I just hope it will die out soon.

That can't look good for the body. It's like asking for a seizure.

Re: The Future of 3D...

Honestly I just think it's on it's way to becoming standard. While the technology still needs refinement for those people who can't watch it without getting headaches, I think that within ten years, every movie will have some extra dimension for no reason. Then typically sun glasses will be built with Real 3D lenses already overlaid on the normal lens so you don't need to double-up.
Thirty minutes into a film, I usually stop noticing the 3D anyway.

Thankfully we're past the point where 3D is a gimmick on it's own - like movies where characters will suddenly WAVE THIS STUCK AROUND WHOAH. Sure they still wave sticks around, but since Coraline and Avatar, they at least make it an impossibly pretty looking stick.

Now film producers spending millions to get 3D into movies that in no way take advantage of it? Like, stuff like You Me and Dupress or From Justin To Kelly? Yes that's irritating. But there's little about those movies that isn't irritating.
