Re: Possible Solution to CHUG etc., etc…

And now through the Cybernet Space Cube, we present stories of the Transformers, Transformers GENERATION THREE!

Or if you prefer Classicverse, that's what I've called it for some time. Now if I could just get caught up with my Generations purchases.

Still waiting on a Scourge and Galvatron from another board member. CanadaPost tracking has them in Montreal as of 06/02. The other package I'm waiting for is stuck in Winnipeg until the striking there ends.

If G3 is a product of G1 and G2, is it inbred?

I don't care. Make good toys.

I always just called it Classics but G3 sort of works...sort of...

"I'm looking for Classics Starscream"

"I'm looking for G3 Starscream"

Still think classics sounds better...but whichever people prefer.

I too still prefer Classics. How would you determine the end of G3 and the start of G4?

I call them Classics, G3 sounds ... okay, but what about the non-G1/G2 characters in the line?

Heroes from across time and space have been gathered, they have been gathered to do battle against the forces of Evil! The forces of the Ultimate Decepticon Leader of All Time!
Megatron.

The Autobots, their new allies from alternate realities, such as the Maximals and Mini-Cons, must now join forces to defend Cybertron and Earth from the ultimate gathering of their hated nemeses. Now Optimus Prime must lead a stal-wart band of warriors from continuities beyond. Beyond anything you've ever seen before, these are the Transformers... Transformers, Generation Three!

Come on, you know Hasbro's packaging blurb writers would cook up something ludicrous like this. I mean just look at what they coined for Universe 1.0 and RID.
