Shoulda Woulda Coulda - MP-36 Megatron Wanted

Shoulda foreseen the overwhelmingly positive reviews for MP-36 Megatron.

Woulda preordered him if so.

Coulda saved some money if I did...

Alas, my great purge of MPs has halted with Hasbro MP-10 since deep in the cockles of my collecting heart I knew I'd be keeping him and likely picking up MP-36 if he didn't suck (I kept MP-4 and MP-5, after all).

Now that I know he doesn't suck I'm pulled back in like Michael Corleone from Godfather 3

So I'm looking for MP-36. If you bought doubles and one has some scratches on it or the box is messed up let me know.

If you know of any good deals let me know.

If you think I'm insane for selling off most of my collection, well...keep that to yourself

Re: Shoulda Woulda Coulda - MP-36 Megatron Wanted

99.9% certain that a 2nd run is just around the corner. In the meantime, the best price I am aware of is here ($300 CAD):

<https://www.agabyss.com/masterpiece-mp-36-megatron-2-0.html>

edit: also the Vancouver Island Toy Fair is May 7, 2017 at the Pearkes Recreation Centre (near Tillicum Mall in Victoria). Ages 3 & Up will all but certainly have a few there for probably a little better that $300. If you consider that walk on ferry and bus is probably cheaper than potential shipping and duty anyway and, that the toy fair is pretty fun anyway, it begins to approach, "worth it".

Jwan is probably 30min away from the a3u retail location but I think he's looking for a better price ($230 usd plus tax = about $350!!

Nice.

I love having a reason to visit Victoria and you, my friend, may have just given me a good reason to!

Can I crash at your place?

I'm in Steveston so A3U's brick and mortar is more like 45 minutes away. Not that bad but the human cost of using up my sparse free time to go there or drag my 3 kids with me to the hell hole that is Lougheed Mall is not worth it.

And ya...$250 is more my ceiling so I'll probably have to wait until the hype dies down or for that inevitable second run.

probably just a day trip, but I'll definitely treat you to an Egger. Toy Fair A3U is not the same as retail A3U is not the same as online A3U

Heads up the retail A3U isn't in Lougheed Mall anymore.
