jjwan needs someone who casts G1 parts

Apparently, simply painting G1 Ultra Magnus parts black to make them match Diaclone Powered Convoy doesn't really work. The holes on the back ends of the launchers are too small to fit onto PC's posts when in truck mode. Add a layer of paint and they are impossible to get on.

Same goes for the small G1 fists. The posts are a little too big to fit PC's headlight holes so painting them black will make them way too big to plug in.

So do any of you know someone that can cast G1 parts?

In order of importance, I need:
  1. G1 UM shoulder lanchers in black (no need for internals to work)
  2. G1 UM missiles in either grey or white
  3. G1 UM/OP fists in black
  4. G1 UM belt/trailer connector in black (I have one of the real deal but its always nice to have a spare)
  5. G1 UM rifle in black (I managed to paint one black and it sorta works but, again, a spare would be nice)

Have you tried Shapeways 3D Printing? They might be able to do this

Yes, try boring the holes a little wider with a file or something. Should be able to get a decent result by trial and error.

I actually tried boring them gently with a drill but I think I need a desktop clamp to hold onto them while I do so.

Have you considered dying the parts?Lots of trial and error but it might turn out ok and it would be cheaper then buying new parts.

At drill is probably too much tool for the job. A small metal file (like the kind you find on nail clippers) would give you more control.
