Re: Will CW Slingshot & Wildrider be in Canada?
Stupid question. How did u find out? Do u get notified from Amazon or is it just checking your cc statement? Not really concerned about the amount, just curious how that happens?

Not a lot, but there's proof it happens.

They're more rid than mtmte... But they also aren't standalone issues. It's like without context or reading the ongoing, the packins make little sense.

the comics that hasbro includes have never been stand alone issues, they've always been from the idw lines. It would not be cost effective to make character specific comics for each character they release.
The comics that come with wildrider and slingshot are part of the combiner wars series of comics that have been released in the other usa figures and continue that story. They are part of a combiner group and hasbro assumes that you will buy the rest of them so you would get the rest of the story.
Hasbros main focus is the usa buyers and they get the comics in the figures so having it make little sense to a Canadian that only bought the 1 or 2 figures is of little concern to them. I am afraid that's just how it is.

Re: Will CW Slingshot & Wildrider be in Canada?
Except that hasn't really happened. With last year's generations, it was mostly dark Cybertron. Not sure if the whole thing ended up being packed in. Not exactly entry point.
But right now? they're not packing in the combiner wars crossover. which is too recent to make happen for a toy release. The exclusives came with like two mid-teen issues of rid. I want to say the one where metalhawl converses with omega supreme about Starscream, and the one where Arcee hands con high command their asses.
No aerialbots or stunticons in the issues, not even devestator. The issues have nothing to do with combiner wars --- and make little sense outside of the ongoing storylines. Going to the wiki, dead end comes with rid #16. This makes no fucking sense.

Re: Will CW Slingshot & Wildrider be in Canada?
Air Raid, Dead End, Off Road, Breakdown come with RID 13-16. It's a big epic in the first season of RID, with Devastator and Superion squaring off, but the Stunticons don't show up at fucking all. It's silly, and not even really a full story even if it is more or less one 'arc.' There's so much set-up and world building and upending of standard TF status quo in the first dozen issues of RID, and callbacks to the entirety of the IDW universe, just to set up Megatron's master plan.
Not jumping on point. Yeesh. And not a single Stunticon except possibly as a crowdfiller, and Superion getting ripped in half by Devastator. With Prowl as the head. So, yeah.

Re: Will CW Slingshot & Wildrider be in Canada?
I still haven't opened my Wildrider....can't comment on the comic, but I'm sure it'll just enter the pile of papers.
I also got the .30 cent refund. I appreciate it...since other times it's been up to five bucks.
I hear the QC on this guy isn't all that...I hope mine is good in that package. I'm waiting for Blackjack to show up before I assemble Team Hasbro.
