Post Transformers Battle Economic Recovery
Okay, so with the 4th movie out, and yet another city destroyed, has anyone ever stopped to think about the economic reprecussions of our friends, the Transformers coming to earth.
Sure, once the dust clears and the rubble settles there would be thousands of jobs created to clean up the newly destroyed city, but who pays for the clean up effort. The government has denied the existence of the TF's and therefore I can't see them shelling out the tens of millions of dollars in contracts to clean up the mess
And what about the businesses, personal property and buildings that lay on the ground in a big mess. Pretty sure insurance doesn't include a "Robot Death Match Clause", I mean, imagine getting that call - Hi, a giant robot just fired 3 missles into my building, turned into a fighter jet and flew away ... when could you start my claim?? Shoot, it took me a week to get my insurance company to pay me for wind damage to my roof!!
So, extreme destruction of property, loss of property value and bankrupt businesses, maybe that's why we turned on the Transformers LOL
