Sounds about right. I once ordered 40th anniversary Star Wars figs from them and they shipped them in plastic bag, not even bubble envelope just a bag, lol.

Re: Walmart shipping lacks care!

Yep, I got a mangled set too through walmart.ca. Here's a post I made a few days ago, nice big creases on Outback, Swerve, and Bee from the employee stuffing the figures in the smallest box possible, lol...

Not interested in selling Outback on his own since it would result in me returning the remaining 3 figures at Walmart and waiting 30 minutes at the service/returns desk.

Same here, and it's not the first time. More so, their customer service is apathetic and terrible. Usually I think twice when it comes to Walmart shipping of collectibles as fear of plastic bag shipping.

Re: Walmart shipping lacks care!

Of course it is just packaging that's meant to be thrown away as far as almost anyone working at WM is concerned. This comes as no surprise at all and it's a little much to say the shipping "lacks care". If the figures themselves were damaged, that's a different story. This isn't BBTS or A3U or something where they know they're selling to collectors that want the packaging nice.

Oh, and don't go on about "They're G! rereleases! Only collectors would want these! They should know better!" It's the same Venezuelan lady packing up Dora the Explorer lunch boxes and Old Spice deodorant that's packing these up. It's not like they have an "Obsessive Collector" shipping department. Again, see BBTS or A3U for that.

I once got a cw devastator with a shipping label on the devastator box. They couldn't even chuck it in a brown shipper lol

Re: Walmart shipping lacks care!

The other day when I picked up G1 Swerve @ Walmart a lot of the rest of the minibots had bent cards and/or creases too. Buying from a physical location has 1 benefit that you can check out the product in hand before buying. You can always return them to the store if you absolutely need to tho. Sad to hear you had a bad experience.

Re: Walmart shipping lacks care!

There was definitely more than enough space in the box that my set was shipped in. But I gotta say that the cardboard that the Minibots are packaged in feels more flimsy than that of, say, Generations. So, I'm not surprised that so many of these are ending up damaged.

Re: Walmart shipping lacks care!

This is Walmart we're talking about here. You expected them to ship it with the packaging intact?
