Neither. You tried knowing it was one coupon per and told no. There is no justifiable argument for you in this case. It may work for some but any of us here know what the limits are and if it works great, if not then no big deal. This is an age old argument through multiple posts and threads and we all know what the rules are.

Re: Hasbro Summer Savings - 2018

See the problem is that TRU's system ALLOWS it to stack. Doesn't mean we should be doing it though. But it also doesn't mean we shouldn't try even though it's written on the coupon... It's human nature to break the rules sometimes just like going over the speed limit which we all do, but it's not the same thing as one can kill yourself and others and you can get a big ticket. There's no penalty for asking them to scan it. I don't feel bad personally for asking to stack them but I won't argue with them if they say no.

Can vouch, sometimes you get a staff who knows the rules

My TRU guy today was a Team Leader (according to his nametag), he went so far as to recommend the 10% no exclusions with last day of the 25% sale, but wouldn't allow use of the ($20 off $50+) coupon, and specifically pointed out the fine print

No sense in fighting it, anyways 25% flyer plus 10% no exclusions is 35% off, that's pretty decent

It's actually 32.5% off since the 10% is removed from the sale price

Reviewing the coupons rebate %, the best coupon in terms of savings is the $20 off of $50. The closer you stay to $50 but not below it, the more savings you get. It's about 40% off and slowly trickles off % wise. With the Transformers pricing, it usually is around 28-33% in savings.

B2G1F is about 33% off if you get all of the items the same price. (i.e 3 deluxes at $19.99) The way TRU spreads the rebate % is kind of cool when the 3 items are all different prices. But that lowers the rebate % on each item. You can find out on the receipt in the right most column, it gives you an amount price they would refund you if you returned an item.

10% off is self explanatory but deduct it off of the sale price.

+1. People should stop bragging about cheating the system, it just creates false expectations for other users. We all know they aren't *supposed* to stack.

Re: Hasbro Summer Savings - 2018

I was able to use the 10% off on my SS Starscream purchase today.

Behind me in line was a family with a little boy who saw that I had Starscream, he had SS Ratchet, and what looked like Cogman in his hands, so I made sure they knew about the coupons so they could get the savings too!

Really hoping we get SS Ironhide by then, but I'm not holding my breath for sure.
