I would not do this. The glass is bendy but it will break at some point and without warning. At least prop up the middle!

Ya, you definitely want to add some support to the glass. That bending doesn't look good at all (structurally and aethestically).

That's not my setup dudes, just a random example from google. I see now the bendy part, yup that would definitely need some support in the middle. When I get some detolfs I will just leave them upright, but I may add a base to elevate them a foot from the ground making it easier to look at the items on the bottom shelf.

I've been thinking of installing some type of risers too. This thread has lots of options, many are custom. I don't know why IKEA doesn't make one.

Picked up two Detolfs today plus a 6' wall mount shelf. Just need to reorganize my den/office then build them. My MPs will finally have a proper home.

They dont seem to have the Beech effect at mine And I have a Beech one from a few years ago.

the only ones with the Beech effect are the ones in Super Megs' basement. Because I built them. I effected them. I am Beech.

I was going to pick some up today but before I do I would like to know if the shelves are adjustable as it would appear I'm going to need a LOT of these things and am working out the measurements now. If I can't adjust the shelf height then I'm not sure they are going to work out after all. Please help with any info you may have. Thanks
