Well Target had acquired 189 Zellers leases in total. But only opened 133 stores. Hence why you may have more locations than stores.
For example, in BC Burnaby | Brentwood Town Centre mall they had plans to open one but it never officially opened due to issues with the Zellers Union and then mall reno's I think.
I'll be very interested to see what happens in Calgary. I could see Walmart step in to 2-3 locations(chinook, sunridge and westhills) but the others are already in well populated areas.
