Re: Hasbro Confirms Transformers 5, 6, 7 And 8 Live Action Movies

As a fan of all 4 movies, I would still prefer that instead on focusing on making 4 more films, maybe focus on making another GOOD 1 first. I loved the first film, even critics enjoyed it, and I enjoy moments of the other 3 films enough to like them, but that doesn't mean I'm happy with them as a whole.

We don't need another 3 hour film where CGI is wasted on battles and spaceship magnets and crap. I'd like to see CGI spent on the autobot characters, them ACTUALLY transforming from time to time and maybe even for once some Decepticon characterizations. Aside from Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Laserbeak and Ravage and Shockwave...actually you can kinda take Shockwave out of that. We barely had anything on him other than good guys saying "He scary".
So yeah, instead of movie after movie, maybe focus on doing a sequel properly and maybe a bit smaller scale so CGI can be put to use where it actually needs to be.
Examples of bad use of CGI
1: Giant trash can a.k.a Devestator. Let's make a badass combiner and all his job is to suck. They succeeded.
2: Giant Magnet ship that could have been destroyed way faster had Prime shot it when it first began magnetizing shit
3: Dinobots. Put them in the movie instead of saying "they're in the movie", because Ravage and Laserbeak still got more screen time.
4: Get rid of pixel transformations and actually use CGI to transform the robots instead.
Remember how Prime transformed from truck to bot to truck after saving Cade and Co.? That shit is awesome, and not frequent enough with any other characters. Remember Bumblebee's first full sequence transformation to fight Barricade then afterwards turns back into a car? That was awesome. Remember when Hound, Drift and Crosshairs transformed into their car modes? No? Oh! Probably because they never did.
Just saying. A movie where they transform at random is NOT what we need, but a movie where Transformers don't transform...Why even bother making a movie about Transformers?

End rant.

I would love for a new animated movie and maybe a spin off TV series off of it

An all new CGI Cybertron based movie would be fantastic. Imagine movie level graphics WFC/FOC!!

Not a big fan of this as many of the G1 main casts are dead from both the Autobots and Decepticons. Unless they are doing a prequel or something like that. I still can't accept the fact that Optimus can fly without a jetpack all the sudden and ditched everyone on earth at the end of the last the movie while he was never able to fly like that from the previous movies. Just end the story already... The movie is all messed up and I think they need a reset.

I think they were trying to cut cost. In movie 4 you can barely see any real robot transformed. Sometime just half showed (like BumbleBee first show in AOE), sometime nothing at all.

They had previously said 5 and 6, guess they decided to add 7 and 8. As long as I get some toys I want, they can make as many as they want.
