This is my brother with his truck, Echo-5 and I was wanting to do something like figure out a way to make that, and make it into a Transformer..Thought he might find that kind of fun.

Us and Them, that vehicle reminds me a little of the Balkan-MK6 for which some guys made a Soundwave design mockup . That might give you some inspiration.

Looks like you could make him out of movie bonecrusher, just remove the rear hatch, 3rd row of wheels (maybe shorten his legs all together), and get rid of the minesweeping claw...it could work.

Beauty is bonecrusher is really easy to get so it shouldn't be too difficult to get him and modify him to meet these standards.
