Thumbs up Re: A question about fixing stickers on a new transformer

Well after some looking I decided to try some clear nail polish then my sister suggested something called hard coat. it is used on fingernails when ladies apply stick-on jewels and stickers and it seemed to work. but thanks to all for the help.

Wow, TR Voyager Optimus Prime's stickers are craptastic. Every single one's peeling along the corners, and just won't stay flat right out of the box.

I think I'll try some small dots of white glue applied with a toothpick.

I haven't gotten a TR OP yet, but when that happens, I just just a regular glue stick and a tooth pick, and apply gently pressure til the glue holds.

Unless said acrylic clear coat is Future floor polish.

Re: A question about fixing stickers on a new transformer

Maybe worth checking out this adhesive from Reprolables. I have some peelers, reissue G1 and Platinum Predaking. All I want is a quick 'new' adhesive to give the sticker some 'stick', and won't damage the a) sticker or b) the plastic.

Let's share our results!...beats having to track down new stickers, in any case. As for the future, I now give a quick q-tip and soap solution to any plastic surfaces to ensure you're giving the sticker the best chance to adhere. But storage, humidity, all seem to play a part in unsticking that what was once stuck

Re: A question about fixing stickers on a new transformer

I hate stickers. I hate that recently some of the voyagers like Generations Whirl and Roadbuster came with sticker sheets. So I left the stickers unapplied.

But now we get figures with pre-applied stickers? WTF!? Now I don't even have the option to leave them off.

And worse yet, many seem to be reporting that on the newly released Titans Return voyagers, the stickers are peeling off already!

Yup. I hate stickers.
