Watched the trailer through my god-forsaken Apple TV this morning.

Thoughts:

• I always knew John Boyega would make it big time since Attack The Block
• Daisy Ridley looks like a cross between Natalie Portman and a young Carrie Fisher...coincidence?
• Boulder-bodied Astromech? Okay...
• Is that Oscar Isaac piloting a Rebel fighter? Why is he suddenly the go to guy for all the nerdy movies I want to see?
• X-wings skimming along a lake = ForceBoner 1
• So...The Alliance can't afford to upgrade flight suits or their fighter craft but the (presumably) fledgling Empire can upgrade their Stormtrooper Armour? I think they gotta reassess their capital investments.
• Lightsaber Broadsword shaped like Andúril? = ForceBoner 2
• The Falcon moving like we always kjnew she could? = ForceBoner 3, but why does she have a new rectangular radar dish?
• No Luke, Leia or Han? No problem.

Overal score = 3 swollen Midichlorian Members up.

New Rebel pilots do have new flight suits and helmets, go back and have a look and also, the Falcon lost her circular radar dish in ROTJ while escaping from within the Death Star II.

Ok I've absorbed it now.

I really liked that sand bike she gets on. Fits right into the Tatooine environment.

X-wings along the waters = X-SCHWING

Upgraded Stormtrooper armor = perfection

That rolling R2 unit looks silly but understandable. They need to catch up to all the action. Rather that then flying.

I like how the light saber has a slight flame effect. Less like a laser.

True, there are some improvements. I even noticed the X-Wing wings aren't the same as the classic.
