Cardstock Miniatures

Rather than flood an existing thread with some partly related images, I figured I'd start up a new thread more devoted to it.

So does anyone else make cardstock models? Does anybody else even know about any of it? I'm must a fan, but lack of time, space, and resources mean that I really haven't built anything at all. I've got some sets from WorldWorksGames and Ebbles Miniatures (and other places) and they look pretty versatile and partly scalable. By default they're for gaming miniatures, but there are other cardstock models like PaperStarships based on Babylon 5 and Homeworld crafts. An interesting hobby.

Anyways, here's some images of a few of the sci-fi sets out there just to give people an idea of what its about.

Basically, cardstock modelling would more or less be the bastard child of origami, standard model making, and CGI textured wireframe models.

Here's some background choices
FirstLight Retrofit

FirstLight

Mars Station

Platform Command

Platform Command: Red Sector

Platform Command: Battleground

Celestus Pravatis

Codename Titan

Ebbles Miniatures Firebase Maginot

Ebbles Miniatures Derelict Classic

Streets of Mayhem

Babylon 5 Starfury

Vanaar Class Heavy Cruiser

Enjoy. No clue what the scale of it is though, could be the size of a binder, could be the size of a coke can.

Very cool man. Really gives a sense of depth and a really nice feel to a set up. Reminds me of when my cousin was into D and D and set up a maze of glued together popsicle sticks...only this is way more detailed...
