Quick questions on Robotkingdom

Hi there... anyone know where Robot kingdom ships out of? Prices seem to be lower than some other sites... Is shipping charge higher? What is customer service there like? Good/bad experiences? Thanks.

They ship out of Hong Kong, you have a choice of Registered or EMS. Their shipping is a bit high, but never had any issue with them. I just bought Movie Masterpiece Prime and I am just waiting for it to arrive. In terms of taxes, i was never hit but you do have to tell them how much you want them to declare, else they will declare full value.

Good luck.

I can tell you that shipping is pretty expensive.

I bought 3 dinobots from them and got hit with customs but I factored that into the price. Shipping was super fast. Still waiting on my preorder to arrive. I would trust them over the china ebay scammers! One thing I will do differently next time I order will be to declare a much lower value. However if something goes wrong and insurance gets involved I would get screwed.

The shipping charge is INSANE. So far it has never ever been worthwhile buying from them unless they were the only one with the product.

Ordering anything is like over $40 shipping with regular or EMS. It gets better if you order at least two items then shipping cost doesn't go up as high. You can specify how much you want them to declare in value.

Re: Quick questions on Robotkingdom

I had both positive
And negative experience with them.
Shipping is expensive with them.
Positive - items are packed very well.

Negative - I bought 2 identical transformers
But it was deliver to me with extensive damage to the box.
I complained and they order 2 new boxes from Takara for me ,
But won t ship it to me unless I ordered something on their website. I order another toy and made it clear to them that before you send it make sure there are 2 boxes . They confirmed that they have the 2 empty boxes flatten.
When they sent the items , there was only 1 freaken box. I complained to Daniel from Rbk, his email seem to imply he didn't believe that only 1 box was deliver.
The issue never got resolved
I decided to not shop with them anymore .
I now shop at Tfsource or ages3 or automaton toys

I have no problem with them in the past the shipping is comparable to other sellers sites. But their lower prices make up for that on most products.

I order from them occasionally and they're pretty good. The prices are lower than most places and their pretty efficient. But I always wondered why they lack in the MMC and Fansproject inventory?

Shipping from overseas is always going to be more expensive. Shipping from HK is much more reliable, and faster, than shipping from China. I prefer EMS.
