I don't think any reasonable person would say that Hasbro is wrong to want to protect their stuff. But their just being a little heavy handed about it (Artist Alley).
And if what Vangelus said was true on twitter, TakaraTOMY issue one day licenses in Japan for Artists and crafters for Wonderfest. That would be a great idea.
A lot of the complaints could probably have been alleviated had they given notice before people booked non-refundable air fair, hotel rooms and Botcon packages. That they no longer really want.
Either way I won't be going. Just costs too much money I would rather apply to my collection.
But I do plan to get to TFCon sometime in the near future hopefully.
