27 inch HP monitor from Best Buy along with a 64 gig USB stick. Lego Marvels from Walmart and winter tires installed on the wifey's car.

Nothing too exciting. Shopped at the LEGO store, burned some VIP points on the Rancor pit and seasonal items. Most of the sales weren't relevant to me, though used the 50% off chima speedorz, a couple duplo sets and some friends to get cheap, but quality, gifts for toy hampers.

Picked up LEGO Hobbit 'Attack of the Wargs' for 1/2 price at TRU. Was never going to buy it at $60, not even 20%. It's a big (but well-made) tree and a rock outcropping, but it comes with two Wargs, a unique goblin, two army builder goblins, Bifur and Thorin. Thirty bucks was well worth it for the figures and parts. Otherwise, just got IDW Megatron on the 30% TF sale.

I dunno I think I counted the preview wave as one of them. But this one is dark green with Huffer, 2 coneheads, Nemesis Prime, Long Haul, Guzzler...

I've only opened Knock Out and Arcee so far. Mainly because I want to recreate these two.


But I may pick up a second to put with my BH Darksteel, aka Predacon Breakdown.

Also planning on repainting Starscream as Terrorsaur.


But if he's decent, I might get a second to repaint as Fractyl. Maybe even a third to repaint as Hydra/Lazorbeak.

GTA 5 is pretty great. Just the first hour of it was better than all of 4 put together. Online on the other hand has been exceptionally disappointing. It started off really cool. I started off thrown into a couple beginner missions with some random guy, which I immediately thought, "Oh great, this guy is just gonna shoot me in the back the second it says go. Just like every multiplayer game of GTA4 ever". But he was actually cool and cooperative. Up until he abandoned me while shopping for clothes, but oh well. But as of last night I think I've had enough of it. It just takes FAR too long to level. And you have to level up a lot to get any decent weapons or vehicles. So ofcourse, you try to do jobs to get cash and level up, but whenever I try to get into a job, I end up having to go in by myself because nobody seems to want to do jobs. They just want to seem to run you over in the street on your way to the ATM.

I went AMD as the equivalent Intel setup would have been way more expensive. That and I was originally going to cheap out on $300 FM2 build and add a video card down the road if I wanted to game. But then with sales @ CC I could do a rather kick ass AM3+ build for only $140 more so went for it.

SSDs may get added down the road though. Took me 1hr to install DCUO friday night. On a decent SSD I'd assume it would have been like 20-30 mins.
