ATM/Debit access?

Will there be easy access to ATMs at TFCon, or for that matter will there be any retailers with credit/debit machines?

I assume most of the dealers will be using cash after all...

Re: ATM/Debit access?

Yes, the dealers use cash. If I recall correctly, none of the past dealers have had a credit card terminal.

There is an ATM in the hotel, but it empties out quickly. I believe there is another ATM in the area across the street. It is best to take out a lot of cash at your local ATM before the show if you plan to spend.

Re: ATM/Debit access?

I'm surprised none have done that yet, then...

At the toy show they had in Edmonton, one of the larger retailers (Happy Harbour/Metropolis) was smart enough to bring a debit/credit setup... which naturally meant that they were in the best position when the debit machine dried up. I got stuff from their booth in part due to the fact I could save my cash for other items by buying there.
