Wait, does that apply to shit going into the states that would otherwise be sent using untracked surface or airmail? That sounds a little too good to be true, but I definitely wouldn't complain about that.

In either case, I REALLY need to start reading up on this shit, especially now that I've got my computer working again.

Not sure if you're referring to my post, but if you are, the answer is no; the automatic upgrade to Expedited is only for domestic shipping unfortunately.

My tracking says the item was delievered today. I was home and there is no parcel. Me thinks they either delievered it to another house or they CP scammed me.

Someone could have sent you the wrong tracking info...I've had that happen before.

Hope you get your package! Check outside your place, around shrubs etc. My postman likes to hide things on me.

As for shipping, using the Venture One card automatically upgrades your parcels from Regular Mail/Parcel to Expedited so the (ever slightly) reduced price also includes a tracking number as well. The savings overall aren't really that much, but they are savings nonetheless I suppose.

Well, it might also have been taken to your local outlet, and or maybe it just made it into your city. If you haven't already done so, toss the number into this & see what you get. I've usually found it to be better than both the USPS & CP systems, especially when it comes to the seemingly silly routes some things end up taking.

Canada Post is total crap.

They make selling online next to impossible. People in the USA do not want to pay $20 shipping for a deluxe Transformer, especially when the same person can mail it to Canada for like 1/3 of the price.

Mailing within your own Province isn't too bad, but out of Province you end up paying almost double.

While not directly Canada Post, Customs is a total joke. Charging tax, their $9 no apparent reason fee and the courtesy of holding your package for up to two additional weeks really pisses me off.

My 3 year old niece had open heart surgery a few weeks ago. One of my friends in the USA sent her a package in the mail with a bunch of toys as a get well present to make her feel better. Even though my friend marked the customs form as a gift, because it was over $60, they charged me a ridiculous amount in customs fees when it came. It is total bullshit.

I just shipped a Rescue Bot (bigger and heavier than a deluxe) to the US for $12.66... But last year, I got a loose voyager, a loose deluxe and 4 loose Legions shipped for $6.60 from the US.

The mailman put into the system that it had been delivered. The following day, it said it was resorted at the postoffice. Again saying it was attempted to be delievered. This time it had an online notice that I had to pick it up at the local post office. If it wasn't for the tracking, I wouldn't have known. As there was no slip left. Good thing I know the employees at that branch, on a first name bases.
