Does the theatre at Chinook have that pre-assigned seating crap when you get tickets?

As that should be something to keep in mind if so.

Not for the IMAX, but they do for that UltraAVX and D-Box things

And Jeem, if I remember correctly the premeir was bumped to Wednesday (29th) instead of Friday (1st), which probably still doesn't help you

The word I keep reading about is that the 3D is the best since Avatar.

Do they have IMAX 3D? As I'd pay for that.

Ok then I shall see you guys in just about 2 weeks at chinook at 8:00 for the IMAX 3D showing, if possible and some one is getting their tickets early if they could pick one up for me then that would be great as I'm coming in from Banff.

I've been checking Cineplex.com for the last few days, I haven't seen a pre-sale for tickets yet for Chinook in IMAX, and these things are usually up by now. There are definitely tickets available at Sunridge, Westhills and Crowfoot for the midnight show, but nothing at IMAX. I don't really doubt it'll be there (after all, they did it for ROTF) but I'm going to check on Friday when I go to Green Lantern.

I have been checking daily as well, though it somewhat worries me that the tickets aren't available yet... though Cineplex is never on the ball with anything..

I will be buying a few tickets for friends, but I may end up with extras I can give to people here, at cost of course

I will call today and see whats up, if they know anything.

EDIT: Tickets are available for the Edmonton IMAX Midnight showing (yes I check these things..) Definately calling them today!
