Agreed, it's honestly where I get about 80% of my TF stuff. The high ticket items only seem to appear at TRU in my area too so it's like my only option for them.

Agreed. My local TRU (and the other one within a reasonable distance from me) don't always have the best history with keeping things in stock, but given my local Walmart's rapid descent into being almost unworkable from a stock standpoint with how infrequently they put fresh stuff on the floor and with EB generally carrying very little, being hell to deal with in terms of getting orders on stuff, and having bar none some of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with, I'll gladly buy from TRU over any other major retailer given the chance.
I just wish they could fix their damn website and do a better job of making it clear what exclusives and signature stuff they're going to get (and how much it overlaps with EB) so that I can choose not to give EB my business when at all possible (like I just bought Hubcap from them before I knew it would show up on TRU.ca)

Same but for PD Zetar
Pre-ordered it from EB full price (like a sucker), didn't want to miss out
Later on it would straggle on TRU website long after Siege was done, multiple times hitting 20% off sales

Sky lynx is back in stock, however briefly. Just nabbed one for the sale price.

Re: Toys R Us flyer
Your TRU must be nice.
I went to the one near my place of work in Burnaby and they're fresh out of Scorponok (sold on the weekend most likely) and they won't give a raincheck for it at the sale price (too big an item, according to the manager the clerk was consulting).
I'm going to buy it anyway, but the discount would've been nice...

That is such horseshit. That's clearly not part of their raincheque policy, but I suppose somewhere in there they have a "manager's discretion" or some crap.

God damn it, that's frustrating to hear
But I've also experienced it, so at the same time I'm not surprised
Like, literally other people on this board have obtained raincheques for Scorpy

Re: Toys R Us flyer
Email corporate, tell them what happened and tell them you want a raincheck.

I literally walked to customer serviced, asked them to look it up, asked for a rain cheque. That easy. It's silly you weren't given that.

I agree, just a quick email and do it up. Doesn't hurt to try. Keep it simple and concise.
Related: I went to WalMart yesterday and asked to price match Doubledealer to the TRU site (i still have his listing page open on my phone). The clerk just did it with an okay, no problem. Wheras I know and many of you have experienced some WalMarts come up with every reason to not pricematch.

Re: Toys R Us flyer
I was able to get a rain check at my local TRU for this sale. Does anyone know if it's only accepted at the store I got it from or will any store or the website also price adjust for me?
