Every time I'm at TRU or Walmart and I see dudes with the tell-tale collector signs (eg: Rooting through a dozen of the same figure looking for the one with the best paint apps, etc.), I always wonder if they are posters on Cybertron or AFN. Honestly, besides Icetron and a couple others on here, I don't know too many local collectors.

Whenever I go hunting, I usually notice the same things as you do. I'm sure people on the boards here have ran into each other in the stores, it's just we don't know that at the time.

endLess, I forgot the part where I spot a collector rooting through the toys and I initially panic, thinking he might get the last one of the figure that I want. Nothing sadder than two grown men racing to the toy isle, lol.

Haha I totally don't even do that anymore, I don't think I want many domestic toys THAT badly or the ones I want aren't even popular enough that I'd need to do that now.

I'm sure all of us here at one point have ran like giddy schoolgirls to the TF section at TRU or the toy section in Zellers, Walmart....I know I have.
Hey, back when TFA was being released regularly, I was excited when I found out Blurr was sighted at Metro TRU so I couldn't help myself.

Vancouver here too, kits to be more specific! I actually used to maintain a "Vancouver TF Fan Directory" back in the early 00's, and considering what I had then, and how things have exploded in popularity, I'd say there are probably at least 100 collectors in the area.
Would anyone else be interested in doing a meetup in the vein of the old Ages ones? Could be fun.
