I still like my Kreo sets (even though they're mostly based on the Bayverse).
The fun of Lego is the building, and Kreo gave you the excuse of having to take the alt mode apart piece by piece to build the bot, and vice versa. A never ending cycle of building.
I've got Optimus, Megatron as a truck, Bumblebee, Mirage, Devastator and Ironhide. Along with a bunch of the micro combiners and all the minifigs that came with the big bots. I should add, Optimus can barely stand up as the ball joints are quite loose.
1 Lego Optimus can't replace all my Kreo.

That said, this is an amazing collaboration, on par with Marvel and DC working together to make something unique and amazing. I hope they make more Transformers Lego going forward.

Oh right, I almost forgot about those ones.
I have Prime, Grimlock, Bumblebee, Starscream, Hound, and Shockwave.
You can still find Hound at Playtime toys...
These ones are fun, but hard to stay together. Transforming them without having them fall apart was part of the challenge, right?


I also have 1 Built to Rule model of Starscream and I think I put it together once, and then shoved it back in the box, never to see the light of day again. That was not a great line.
