Got my preorder in a couple hours ago, got the confirmation within an hour, checked my visa balance a little while ago and I have been charged. I'd almost rather have done it the old fashioned way, I do love the hunt, but I really just don't have the time anymore, I work too damned much

I just went and ordered an Acid Storm (I have Takara Soundwave already). I was about to do "ship to store" on the US site and pop over to Buffalo on Saturday to pick him up there, but you guys saved me a trip and a few bucks - $70 CAD versus $75 USD, not too often they're cheaper here than in the States.

Same here! Glad I don't have to waste time checking the store for the next few weeks now - I have better ways to spend my time.

Yea, well the lady on the phone said I would be billed full price with free shipping and then given a cheque with the discounted 25% off which will be included in my shipment to redeem in store or cash at my bank I would assume..all I know is I got the discount applied to my pre-order.

It should be noted the min they punch in your reference number if you were able to use the 25% off code after placing your order online and calling to confirm and have it adjusted..probally shit out of luck now for this new next wave of pre-orders.

The odd thing is that even though it says it doesn't allow Babies R Us coupons, but the babies10 code still works. Would that possibly cause an order to get cancelled later down the road?

I doubt it, it's not the customer's fault, but their fault. I haven't use any codes for my preorder though except Metroplex.

On a pre-order, held until processed which all depends on when TRU does that. At first PayPal wasn't permitted but I guess they changed that as a lot of folks mentioned using PayPal.

How did people manage to pay for a pre-order with paypal? The paypal button is grey-ed out for me.
