European retail?

I have a friend going to Europe in a few days for a few weeks and he?s willing to look for Transformers.

Where should i ask him to look?

Re: European retail?

Hmm, without any scope of “where in Europe” he’s going, I would say, Italy?

I heard the knockoff scene in Italy is pretty decent, like they got lots of KOs imported along the land from China, or something like that (I’ll be damned if I can remember the source of that, though)

Re: European retail?

if you're looking for Legacy Beachcomber, I've seen photos of a bunch of them on clearance.
Otherwise, maybe search ahead for shops? It would be pretty neat to get a recent photo of a vintage counter inside Luluberlu, for one.

Considering their, until recently, good business relationship with China, and close proximity (for Europe), it wouldn't surprise me.

As to Birdman...yeah you might want to be more specific. Europe is a pretty big place.

Re: European retail?

There are alot of Europeans on the TFW2005 forums...I'd suggest asking on there for people from the countries he is visiting....mostly it looks like they get their stuff from smaller toy and comic shops there and they have their own Hasbro Pulse store as well.
