I too personally wish it was just hotrod and not the winnebago rodimus,, ill never display him in vehicle mode or with his trailer.. i hate both.. never really liked the G1 toy, and i still have him.

lets just keep our fingers and or eyes and toes crossed that they either make a hotrod version or this one is both somehow still though i doubt it.. sadly

Looking good But I thought the visor gimmick is only for Hot Rod...

But I'd rather they do without the winnebago thing and make him as tall as prime: they should redesign him into a crossover like the BMW X6, Toyota Venza, etc. Ok, ok... but than again if that's the case his alt mode will not be in scale if he is taller in 'bot mode

Too bad they couldn't figure out a way to make the existing figure the Hot Rod mode, and somehow expand him in the legs, chest and shoulder, add some "age" lines to his face and call him Rodimus. Forget the trailer, make that the figure. I'd pay for that, if it could all work.

We don't know yet if the Hot Rod mode is there or not. Maybe there's one, but no official pics yet.

Not going to say much now as I really don't think we've seen enough of this toy yet to say for sure but from what I'm seeing so far I'm on the fence. Don't hate it but I'm not really liking what I'm seeing either. I really hope they incorporate some sort of "Hot Rod" mode as that would have been the clincher for me. That looks way to much like the G1 Rodimus Prime toy for my tastes.

I'll wait to see more but by the way this toy is shaping up I will probably wait until the eventual Hasbro release goes on sale to pick this up.

I think this figure so far looks amazing. I love the G1 Rodimus Prime toy. Its basic but the vehicle form is very cool.
