Agreed, I don’t think it’s going to be him either, but it’s definitely in his best interest that Toys R Us stays in business whether he owns it or somebody else.

As MapleMegatron mentioned, the MGA offer didn’t get accepted, more for publicity than substance. Good news is like a detached house selling in Toronto during the spring of 2017, multiple offers. Bad news is no official offer accepted, but at least Toys R Us Canada is wanted.

No offer accepted? Sounds to me like they want to keep the Canadian brand because they can still milk it for more dividends for their fat cat pay-offs before forcing closure there too.

I mean, weren't any of the offers profitable enough in their eyes to actually accept? Or are they just milking this so they can crush our hopes and dreams of seeing TRU Canada survive?
