He's got a visible engine in vehicle mode, no engine on his robot mode chest, and pipe-guns on his arms so he fits my criteria for a good Hot Rod toy. The articulated hands and visor are just icing on the cake. The only problem is the fake chest, but I think I'll get him anyway, especially since I still don't have a main-line-scale Hot Rod in my collection.
