yeah when i got serious about collecting actual classics and stuff was long over, so i had some backtracking to do for sure.

story of my life. i just collect classic transformers now so i got almost all the essentials from classics 1.0 and pretty much missed almost all of the universe 2.0 stuff while getting sucked into the first movie crap. worst feeling ever.

Same for classics. I got lucky though, Superstore in my town didn't clear out of anything, a year after they were done. I was able to get ALL the Universe deluxes for $9/ea.

I'm all caught up on what I want now, except for Classics Ultra Magnus, but I'm hoping we get a real Magnus one day, not just a white Prime.

I really want TFA's Blurr, but the cheapest is too listings in China/Hong Kong. I dunno if I trust toys from that part of the world that hasn't been checked over for western sale :/

Well, you could always hunt on the boards for sellers. If you're patient enough to shop around, you should be able to find Blurr (or anything else really) for not only a better price, but also from more reliable people.

I'm mad at myself most because I totally passed on just about all of Universe 2.0 at the time because I didn't want to get serious about any of the Classics stuff. Then Generations came along and I got hooked. Now I'm kicking myself.

I was somewhat late to the game with TFA as well, but was able to get many of the figures I missed out on to complete my collection from some members on here. I was also able to complete my Beast Wars Transmetal collection thanks to members on here as well. So ya just keep an eye out on the sales forum, you have to be quick though

Be patient. Stalk the BST threads here, and if there's a local store that sells second hand TFs stalk that too. I don't know how many times I've said to my self, "frak it, I pay the ebay price only to find it for way cheaper at a local store."
