Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Eeeeee! I had such a fun time at Metrocon! It was so nice meeting everyone!
I managed to score a Prowl, Terrorcon Cliffjumper, some Kreons, Dead End and a Beast Hunters Smokescreen a very kind man sold to me!
Thanks again for the fun time. :3

Coralle, I don't know if I met you today or not, but I saw your Bob plushie, and he is very cute! Did you also do the scarves? I thought those were especially clever.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Thanks to everyone who showed up today. We raised $540 for BC Children's Hospital Foundation from the table reservation and charity raffle! This was a huge event, we had about 150 or more different people show up through out, and even some still coming in at the end.

I was in a blue Autobot shirt. By the end of the night I was the one hopping around in circles with my Smokescreen. I'm glad Bob was well received. I got many compliments on him. :3
The scarves were done by Merewyn1066.deviantart.com (I hope I spelled that right. I'm posting from my phone). Her scarves are amazing!

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Phew! Man, I had fun selling at Metrocon. I like the larger space and better organization. I like not having my stuff in a pile on the floor and over a couple of chairs. Lots of attendees this year, looks like other people had a good time as well. It's always a pleasure to put faces to names.
Couple of things.
I am covered in dust. Damn it was dirty there. The static cling from my plastic rubbermaid bins turned them into dust magnets. I got dust on my pants, my shirt, my hands. I leaned against the window sill and got even more dust on me.
Was it just me or was it really warm and stuffy up there? It probably didn't help that I ran up and down the stairs hauling boxes with me. The free water really helped so kudos to Metropolis for that. But I wish those windows could open so we can let some air in. Or maybe get some more fans set up so the air can circulate.
Man I wish there was a service elevator or an escalator to get up there.
Did I mention it was really dusty?

Thanks very much for organizing! This is the best turn out we ever had and the most organized. I was very tired at the end but certainly had fun. Glad we are doing charity on top of all that.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Metrocon was awesome this year, great job Venksta and Metropolis comics for the set up. It was my first time this year, and you all set a really great first impression. Kudos to the sellers too, you all had some great stuff and I hope next year will be even better!
Shout outs to the bros who sold me the G1 Ginrai for dirt cheap! HEYO!

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
It was great to see everyone out last night!
Big shout out to Badgerton for the M.A.S.K car! My son was rolling it all over the floor at Metrocon and playing it all night at home, seeing him so into it was priceless.
It was cool to see vendors from Seattle (thx to palace decor and things for the kreo)come down for this con, wonder if this is the turning point that gets the motors starting for bigger TF cons in the lower mainland.
